The Ranger is selling so well, Ford will have to make more

Ford received a tsunami of over 300,000 online inquiries regarding the new compact Ranger, and will be setting production into overdrive to keep up.

“The demand is going to be so strong, that starting in February, just in a few days, our Wayne Assembly plant where this product is made will be going into massive overtime,” said Kumar Galhotra, president of North American operations. “That is fantastic news.”

Chevy’s eCOPO Camaro is popping wheelies at drag strips now, no big deal

Chevy took its electric eCOPO Camaro to a drag strip in Arizona and raised some eyebrows, along with its entire front end, as it popped a wheelie on the first run. After a couple more passes, with adjustments and charges to keep it at full capacity, the 800-horsepower all-electric Camaro ran a 10.03-second quarter mile.

The future of EV drag racing may look a lot the same, but it’s a whole lot quieter.
