Mazda 3 vs. Chevy Cruze - near Campbell River and Nanaimo

Mazda 3  vs. Chevy Cruze

There are plenty of quality vehicles to choose from when searching for a new compact vehicle but only one of them can make it home with you.  With such a large selection of cars, it is even more important to learn as much about each possible as you can.  New car research and model comparisons are even more important now than ever before, but very few consumers have the time to perform the necessary gathering of information.

It’s an exciting year to be shopping for a new car in the compact segment of the auto industry.  Two of the top vehicles in the segment, the  Mazda 3 and  Chevy Cruze, have a lot to offer drivers who are searching for a new car that can deliver the fuel economy, performance and interior features they desire.  Both the new Mazda 3 and Chevy Cruze are designed to be efficient, stylish and safe, but one of them does them all better than the other.

When drivers search for a new car in this particular segment, fuel economy, performance and a great available features list are at the top their lists of most important attributes.  A closer look at each vehicle's performance and fuel economy ratings reveals that the Mazda 3 offers more in both categories than the Chevy Cruze.  The new Mazda 3 gives drivers a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can put out 155 horsepower and deliver up to 41 mpg on the highway while the standard engine in the new Chevy Cruze is only capable of offering 138 horsepower and a rating of up to 36 highway mpg.

As for standard and available interior features and options, both the Mazda 3 and Chevy Cruze have an excellent amount of offerings.  Each vehicle gives drivers standard air-conditioning, power windows, power locks, outside temperature gauge, front bucket seats and many others.  However, the Chevy Cruze base model leaves out a few things that the Mazda 3 does not.  Features and options like remote ignition, universal garage door opener and cargo area tie downs are available in the new Mazda 3 but not in the new Chevy Cruze.  If you are looking to get the most for your money, the Mazda 3 is the perfect choice.
