Mike Milne, aka Mazda Mike, started working at Courtenay Mazda in 2002 when a friend brought the opportunity to his attention and has now been a part of the Mazda family for 13 years. He is known for his impressive knowledge of the automotive industry and has a knack for helping people find a vehicle that will suit their lifestyle, bringing awareness to the options that are available to them and creating a clearer picture of what is possible when making the decision to purchase a vehicle.
Prior to working here at Courtenay Mazda, Mike worked in the hospitality industry, as well as the aquaculture and fishing industries and has made some lifelong friends along the way. When asked what he was passionate about professionally, Mike stated that helping everyone come to a mutual agreement, influencing a happy workplace and continuously striving for self improvement is what keeps him smiling.
On a more personal level, Mike enjoys socializing, spending time with friends and family, all the while enjoying a delicious meal and friendly conversation. When Mike is not on the lot kicking tires with our awesome clients, you can usually find him working on his home or his yard, relaxing on the beach, hanging out at the park or simply enjoying all that this lovely landscape we call home has to offer. Mike grew up here in the Comox Valley and has been fortunate enough to not have to leave for any length of time. He volunteers with a micro-board to help with the planning and development of a special needs individual and continues to donate to the Canadian Red Cross every month.
